As its name indicates it is a cancer in the breast of a person. Previously, only the species women, occur due to this disease, but in recent years is noted that some men are also victims of breast cancer. Stages of Breast Cancer
The disease of breast cancer can be divided into several stages on the symptoms and the type of event. The extent of the tumor in the breast, also plays an important role in determining the stage of the disease. The different phases can be divided into three parts as follows are described:
- Early Stage-The early stage of breast cancer in these three different phases can be divided into:
First is the level 0 - no current sign of failure of cancer cells from normal tissue.
2nd Stage-I are at this stage to break or seen the cancer cells invade surrounding tissues, and at this stage of the tumor to 2 cm.
3rd Phase II-At this stage, the tumor measures 2 cm or up to 5 cm and the cancer spreads start in the lymph nodes under the arm on one side of cancer.
- Lower level The lower level of breast cancer is divided into stages as described below:
First Level III-A is at this stage of the tumor is larger than 5 cm and the cancer has spread into the lymph nodes and the node into the surrounding tissue.
2nd Stage III-B, at this stage of a tumor of any size begin to spread in the skin of the breast, lymph nodes and breast cancer include inflammatory.
- Advanced stage known as advanced stage IV is the most important stage breast cancer when the tumor spreads through the chest, shoulders, and internal mammary lymph nodes. The tumor may also spread to the lungs, liver, bones or brain, ultimately leading to the death of the person.
The symptoms and diagnosis
